Bandhavgarh National Park was a hunting forest for Royal family of King of Rewa in ancient days , Famous white tiger Mohan ( India's First White Tiger ) was found in Bandhavgarh National Park only, There are many wild animals are found inside Bandhavgarh National Park like Bison ( Gaur) , Wild Boar, Spotted Deer, Sambhar, Beer, Hyna, and king of Jungle The Tiger. Bandhavgarh ational Park has a speciality that all Tiger are has attached radio collers [ Fitted by Forest Department ]  , with help of radio collers forest officials can trek Tigers , But its quite helpful for tourist & jungle safari , at Entry Gate you can know location of Tiger and move by Open Gypsy to That area, and forest department has arrangments for elephant safari inside forest for tourist want to locate Tiger.There are 52 Tigers in Bandhavgarh National Park's Area.
