Dhikala

Dhikala Forest Guest House is a government operated accommodation lodge located in middle of Corbett National Park. Dhikala is located in core area of corbett national park, Dhikala guest house is run by the national park's staff. Dhikala guest houses were built in British period .It does offer comfortable (basic comfort) accommodation , Divided between bungalows, cabins and huts. Rooms have attached toilets facilities, but lack furnishings. There is a basic restaurant in the lodge complex area which serves good hearty food. As we mentioned earlier It is not a luxury property , It is just comfortable property and generally preferred by serious wildlife lovers due to its location in the centre of the park, Dhikala is surrounded by dense forest and It overlooks the Ramganga reservoir. Guests can enjoy Jungle safari twice a day.

Dhangadi gate is the entry gate for Dhikala . One has to show their permits to forest guards at Dhangadi Gate.

Dhikala forest lodge is situated at distance of 30 kms from Dhangadi gate, and it takes approx. 01 Hour to reach Dhikala Forest Lodge from Dhangadi gate. One can enjoy true wildlife while traveling from Dhangadi gate to Dhikala forest guest house, There are  dense sal forests and Ramganga River with several seasonal rivers, wild animals on way. Generally spotted deer, Barking deer, Sambhar, Barasinga, Elephants, and Hyena, Fox, Monitor Lizard are visible on way & if you are lucky enough ,You can see Tiger the king of Jungle.

Dhikala Forest Lodge has two wings Old wing & New wing , Both wings offer rooms as well as dormitory accommodation. Dhikala Guest house has 22 rooms, and two dormitory containing 24 Beds. As the accommodation is limited and very much in demand , It is advisable to make a prior booking for Dhikala guest house.

Dhikala Forest Lodge is enclosed by the effective solar fence. Guests can sit in the verandah at night and enjoy the roaring wildlife sounds & amazing , unforgettable experience.
