Kaziranga National
Park is Known for remarkable success story of conservation of the One
Horned India Rhinoceros and other wild lives in the North East
India. Kaziranga National Park is home of One horned Rhinoceros
and provides shelter to other wild life animals too.
Kaziranga National Park is located on the banks of River
Bramhaputra. Kaziranga National Park is spread in a area of approximately 425-sq-kms
. Kaziranga National Park has tall
thickets of elephant grass , Elephant grass is ideal habitate
for One-Horned Rhino. Kaziranga National Park was declared
Wildlife Sanctuary in year 1940 to stop poaching of One horned
Rhinoceros.
Best Time to Visit Kaziranga National Park
Kaziranga National Park's best visiting time is from 15 November
to 15 April. During the monsoons, the Brahmaputra River bursts its
banks, flooding the low-lying grasslands and causing animals to
migrate from one area to another within the Kaziranga National
Park.
